Posies and Pearls

Today is a very special day for me. It is the official launch of my very own website, Posies and Pearls! 

As a timid novice, I carefully tested the waters of shop ownership on Etsy.com, one item at a time. Today, I am proud to say that I have matured into a fully-fledged website curator. 

Becoming a member of the Etsy community (a wonderful marketplace of talented artisans) has given me the chance to live my dream -- sharing the designs I create in my studio with clients around the globe. My first Etsy shop is the home of my jewelry collection, No Stone Unturned. I expanded into a second shop as a way to showcase my wedding collection. My love for both has inspired me to combine elements of each into one cohesive shop. This new boutique of bridal bouquets, jewelry, and accessories is called Posies and Pearls.

Managing two Etsy shops has been such a learning experience. It has allowed me the time to truly understand the kind of shop I want to run and the kind of relationships I would like to have with my clients. It has also given me the opportunity to realize the vision I have for my designs and collection as a whole.

Over the past few years, there have been many surprises, disappointments, and a few light bulb moments. Overall Etsy has been a sort of security blanket. While I am not leaving it behind, I am moving forward with a brand new challenge. I am finally easing my way out to the very tip of the tree branch. I am ready to spread my wings and I couldn't be happier thinking of the possibilities that lie ahead.
