Something New

It is long past time that I introduced some new items on the blog. Over the last three months I have been designing, handcrafting, and posting special new bouquets and boutonnieres. Today a holiday inspired set makes its debut.
I like to think that any of my arrangements can be used in any season -- as long as it suits the bride and groom's vision for the event. For some reason, this particular set really speaks to my idea of what can be timeless and appropriate for all seasons. The combination of vibrant red roses against crisp white hydrangea would be ideal for a summer wedding as the Charlotte, Forever Young, and Selena roses are at the height of their blooming season. Thinking ahead to the winter months, this would also be an outstanding choice for a Christmas or Valentine wedding. I can just imagine the rich red color against a snowy backdrop! Not to mention, the addition of some blue flowers would give this bouquet just the right finishing touch for a military or patriotic wedding.

The Forever Bouquet featuring crimson red roses, pure white hydrangea, and red gypsophila, overflowing with poke berries, and silvery green eucalyptus.

Carefully wrapped stems complete the look with smooth with satin, rose-patterned lace, and individually placed white pearls.

For the groom -- a single red rose bud accented with gypsophila, white hydrangea blossoms, and wrapped with satin.

Looking forward to showcasing my next new creation soon. Thank you for reading!
