Tres Belle

When you love pink flowers as much as I do, you are almost automatically drawn to flowers in varying shades of this amazingly versatile color. Earlier this year I was pleased to find the most beautiful, pale pink roses I have seen in a long while. The densely petaled blooms sparked the design of a new bouquet. To play off of the peachy undertones of the roses, I added miniature peach colored ranunculus. For contrast, I incorporated raspberry pink ranunculus in a variety of sizes. To ground the bouquet, creamy vanilla hydrangea and ivory lilacs were two ideal additions. Clusters of pink hypericum, pale green boneset, and elegant lime green freesia strategically highlighted the shape of the bouquet. Deep green ficus leaves gently cascade outwards -- bringing depth and definition to the arrangement. Partially wrapping the stems with ivory lace layered over ivory satin took the natural appeal and refined blooms to the next level.

This bouquet is one of my all-time favorites and I am thrilled to say that it (along with four coordinating bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres) made its debut at summer wedding in California! I am so glad that this design was perfect for Preet, her fiance, and their bridal party!

The coordinating boutonnieres are a super sweet combination of freesia, ranunculus, hypericum, and boneset surrounding a darling pink rosebud.

I loved working on each of these arrangements! What could be better than surrounding myself with pretty flowers and arranging them into stylish bouquets that are meant to be part of such a special day in the lives of a wonderful couple!
